This is probably the most dangerous part of the castle. Students are not allowed in here for blatantly obvious reasons, but staff members constantly bring them in anyways.

No New Posts Quidditch Pitch

This is where all of the Quidditch action goes on. Practice and games are usually here every weekend. First Years also learn how to fly on the pitch (as instructed by the Head of Hogwarts, who thought it was a great idea for the pitch to be used instead of a courtyard).

No New Posts The Great Lake - 1 Viewing

The lake is a pretty popular spot to hang out near. While it's safe for boats to cross over from end to end, the only time students are allowed to swim in it is for the Triwizard Tournament.

No New Posts Herbology Classroom

The only class located in a building on the grounds (the other class on the grounds being Care of Magical Creatures, but that's done outside). Classes are held in greenhouses, with younger students usually with the tamer plants - and the older students with the dangerous ones.

No New Posts Groundskeeper's Hut

Outside of the hut is where the groundskeeper runs all of the Care of Magical Creatures classes. Since Hagrid, all groundskeepers have been in charge of the lessons. They request that you dress for the weather.
